Do Not Enter the Science Room If the Anatomy Model Is Facing the Door in the Morning
Our school’s science room is at the end of the first floor of the old building.
If you come over from the new building, the hallway turns once, and at the end of it are the science room and the preparation room. During the day, it is just a science room. On experiment days, students walk around carrying beakers, and the teacher keeps saying things like, “Don’t play around,” and “Don’t touch the alcohol lamp.”
Beside the door, there is an anatomy model.
The kind with a chest that opens, with the heart, lungs, stomach, and liver fitted inside in different colors. During class, it is a teaching tool. But when no one is around, it feels different. Its face is too smooth, and its eyes are painted on, but they do not exactly look at anything. They do not feel completely empty either.
The science room has a lot of things like that.
When someone explains them, they are class materials.
When no one explains them, you do not really want to look at them for too long.
Our school’s rumor is about that anatomy model moving at night.
Not walking around.
Just facing a different direction.
