Maryland Goatman - The Axe‑Holding Creature That Cried Like a Goat and Laughed Like a Man
That night, we just planned to park the car and hang out for a bit.

This time, something was wrong.
At the end of the bleat,
a human laugh slipped in.
Heh.
Short.
Sharp.
The car went silent.
The driver whispered,
“You heard that, right?”
No one answered.
Then something snapped in the woods.
Crack.
Then again.
Crack.
Something was walking toward us.
Not a small animal—
each step broke dry branches.
